We get lots of questions!  Here are the ones we hear the most often.

Does it really work?
Yes. All compasses, levels, and thermometers are functional. The rulers work, but it would be hard to use them for accurate measurements on anything that is more than 1" long, as the rulers are not straight. However, they are a useful tool for differentiating between 1/2" and 9/16".

How big is it?
The measurements of everything are listed on the website. Let us know if we missed something. The small compass is about the size of a dime. The Classic Compass Necklace is about the size of a nickel.

How long will it take to get?
We usually ship website orders within a week. If we have to make your piece for you it might take up to 3 weeks; although that is not very common, we are always out of something. If it is going to take awhile, we will email you and let you know. 

Can I get it gift wrapped?
Every piece we mail out comes packaged in a little gift box. If you need something fancier, there is an option for gift wrapping with personalized note. We will do our best to make it a fancy-looking and festive package!

Can I rush it?
If we have it made then we can get it out right away. If you need something as a gift and time is urgent, then please let us know in the comments and we will do our best to help you out.

How long will it take to get to me?
Shipping USPS Priority usually gets to most places in the United States in two-three days. Orders sent to Europe, Australia and Canada generally take a week to 10 days.

I have a problem. I don't like it. I don't want it.
Send us an email and we will do our best to make you happy. An actual person will read your email and we will do our best to straighten it out.

We might have what you ordered in a size not listed on the website. You can exchange your piece for something else or we will refund your money through the method you purchased (card, PayPal, etc.) minus the cost of shipping. Return it within 3 weeks of purchase and include the receipt if possible.

My compass isn't working. Or my level went clear!

We have replaced levels and compasses for pieces that were purchased DECADES ago and are still treasured today! 

If you find yourself with a compass piece that no longer points north, it might have come in contact with a magnetic field. Some levels fade when exposed to sunlight.

If you send us back your piece, we would be more than happy to replace the compass or level with a brand new one. 

This service is free for newer pieces (under a year!) and there is a $25 charge for this service for older pieces. The $25 includes the cost of shipping your piece back to you.
