Moonstone Earring Jackets
Love these! They are ALMOST done. A small pearl will go above the diamond bow-shapes. The top scroll-work pieces were cut off of an overly decorative bracelet that was formed into something else. They were then soldered to gold bezels, which we chose moonstone for. These earrings are worn as an add-on to a pair of post earrings, in this case to jazz up a pair of 2 carat diamond stud earrings. To be worn on special occasions only! Very very fancy indeed.

XTC earrings
Named the XTC earrings. Yes, after the band. They remind me of the text on the cover of the record "Drums and Wires". These earrings move, are lightweight, and are handmade of sterling silver tubing. Named each pair in this series after one of their songs: "radios in motion", "making plans for nigel", "complicated game", etc. A bit calder-esque, these are. Fun to wear and one of a kind.

Plumb Bob earrings
Plumb Bobs? We love plumb Bobs!
Clean and modern....and I hear that in the right hands they can answer yes or no questions.
In these hands? They show us which way our friend gravity is pulling us...

continuous wire ring
This ring might look easy to make. Surprisingly, it is not. Goldsmiths spend YEARS learning how to make pieces perfectly. We try to NOT make pieces that are somewhat messy and all over the place. BUT GUESS WHAT. When the experienced goldsmith sits down to make something that isn't all perfect..it comes out very cleanly. This ring is to try my hand at a design that is fluid, relaxed as well as well done. I have made several of these and will continue to try to perfect the unperfectable. -
mountain range belt buckle
Custom-carved a specific mountain range view from high resolution photographs. Hand finished bronze. Carved the original model out of wax. This is a good balance between buckles that are too light and too heavy. Somewhere in the middle is normally the best choice.
